1. The Agreement
Custode provides indoor vehicle storage at our Northern Ireland facility. A minimum storage term of three months applies to all vehicles. Full storage agreements are issued to every customer before any vehicle is accepted into storage.
2. Payment
Monthly storage fees are payable in advance, due by the end of the first week of each calendar month. A deposit equal to two months' rent is required upon signing.
Late payment may incur a £25 administration charge per month outstanding. Payment is accepted by bank transfer or standing order only.
3. Insurance
Vehicle insurance is entirely the responsibility of the customer. Your policy must include fire, theft and accidental damage while in storage. Custode's own insurance does not cover stored vehicles or customer property.
Evidence of insurance may be requested at any time during the storage period.
4. Access
Site access is available during notified hours. Access codes and keys must not be shared with third parties under any circumstances. All site security procedures must be followed at all times by the vehicle owner and any authorised representative.
5. Use of Storage Space
Spaces are for vehicle storage only. No commercial activity, mechanical work, welding, spraying or engine running is permitted without prior written consent from Custode.
No hazardous materials other than those normally associated with road vehicles in standard operating condition are permitted on site.
6. Our Liability
Storage is at the owner's risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Custode accepts no liability for loss, damage, theft or deterioration of any stored vehicle or personal property, however caused.
The presence of CCTV equipment on site does not constitute a guarantee of security or surveillance coverage of any particular area at any particular time.
7. Termination
Either party may end the storage agreement with one calendar month's written notice, provided the minimum three-month term has been completed.
Custode may terminate the agreement immediately in cases of non-payment of 28 days or more, material breach of these terms, or termination of Custode's own tenancy of the storage facility.
8. Your Vehicle
Your vehicle must be in a condition that presents no fire, fluid or safety risk to the site or to other vehicles stored at the facility at the point of storage commencement.
Any change in the vehicle's condition that creates or may create a risk must be reported to Custode promptly. We reserve the right to require a vehicle to be removed if it presents a risk to other stored property.
9. Data & CCTV
Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. We collect only the information necessary to operate the storage agreement.
CCTV operates on site. Footage is retained for up to 31 days and may be disclosed to law enforcement authorities as required by law.
